Jonas Runberger presented the work of Krets at Metropolis Lab in Copenhagen.

Jonas Runberger (Krets) collaborated with Jonas Nyberg (YAJ Arkitekter) on the design of the Gotland Arena, a planned center for sports and events on Gotland. The project features a limestone cladding and a steel space frame structure developed by AdamsKaraTaylor Structural and Civil Engineers, London.

Daniel Norell, in collaboration with Ellie Abrons and Adam Fure, was selected as a Top Ten Finalist in the 2006 Far Eastern International Digital Architecture Design Award. The project is entitled Blush - Reconsidering Minimal Surfaces in Architecture and the research explores custom made systems of mathematically derived triply periodic minimal surfaces in the production of a new cultural center in Gwanju, Korea. FEIDAD is organized by The Graduate Institute of Architecture at the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

SplineGraft is featured on the Interactive Architecture dot org and turbulence.org websites and in Scandinavian design magazine Forum Aid 1.07.

The Open House: Intelligent Living by Design exhibition opened as part of the ENTRY2006 cultural venue Zeche Zollverein World Cultural Heritage site in Essen on August 26th. Krets is featured with the SplineGraft project. The exhibition is one of five in the recently opened Coal washing plant of Zollverein Schacht XII, redesigned by OMA.

Krets presents the SplineGraft project at the travelling exhibition Open House: Intelligent Living by Design, curated by Vitra Design Stiftung in collaboration with ArtCenter Pasadena. The first venue opens at the Zeche Zollverein, Essen, Germany, on August 26.
